This book just didn’t grab me. It seems to be in the High Fantasy genre but with a Russian connection. I liked the concept but after about an hour I gave up knowing that I would not be able to involve myself in the story.

Kim de Blecourt gives a dispassionate reading making some passable growling monster noises but never managed to place any sense of interest into her voice.
