I have added a plot synopsis of the John Varley novel TITAN to the Varley Vade mecum.

The PPLD has this in the system. I somehow missed it earlier, so we can do this as a trifecta if we wish.

5) Doug uses visual aids to reinforce the HMTP.
6) Rick proudly displays his Certificate of Achievement.
7) Doug presents cool T-Shirts for Varley fans.
8) Doug pleads with the members to help him add to the Varley Vade mecum by writing book reviews and articles.

11) Doug explains why the By-Laws were ammended... Life is too short, yada, yada, yada...
12) Since life is so short, Doug encourages us to visit Deathclock.com to better plan how few books we may realistically get to read before our time is up. Lets get ambitious and commence on a course of study on something worthwhile. I suggest eschatology; through it we may discover that time is shorter than we now think.

By-Laws / HMTP / Turtledove

1) Rick and I talked on the phone and decided on some changes to the HMTP. They are included in Rev 3.8. We also made some changes to the By-Laws. Whose list is this anyway?

2) Rick talked to Jay and discovered that he is reading a Turtledove novel about the Germans winning WWII that we did not know about:

IN THE PRESENCE OF MINE ENEMIES
by Harry
Turtledove
ISBN: 0-451-52902-2

Turtledove also has an Epilog to the WORLWAR series that I think should be added to the list: HOMEWARD BOUND ISBN: 034545846X

The Harry Turtledove web site has information to help you sort out all the different series he has written. You know that eventually we will have to read them all. How 'bout we just include everyting we want to read on the list right now. We should be able to extend it out well beyond our expected lifetimes; which for me is Sunday, January 13, 2030.
